As an outside consultant, Amanda co-led in-depth administrative program reviews of public interest programming at academic institutions and developed infrastructure and program recommendations.

For five years, Amanda co-managed Phillips Brooks House, a department at Harvard College housing public interest programming. Amanda served as the Coordinator of the Center for Public Interest Careers (CPIC) at Harvard College, overseeing and developing multiple public interest internship and fellowships programs, providing personal and professional development opportunities for students and alumni/ae, and partnering with nonprofit organizations around the country. As Director of the Harvard Public Service Network, Amanda provided guidance and support to more than 50 student-led public service programs operating locally, nationally, and globally. Amanda also served as the Sexual Harassment Hearing Officer for Harvard College.

Amanda served as a Skadden Fellow and staff attorney at the Medical-Legal Partnership (formerly called the Family Advocacy Program) at Boston Medical Center, focusing on the civil legal needs of patients in the hospital’s Adolescent Center.

Co-Founder of Wayland Community for Social Justice, Amanda has served on a number of nonprofit boards and volunteer committees, including Temple Shir Tikva’s Board of Trustees and Combined Jewish Philanthropies’ MetroWest Community Planning Committee.

Amanda received a B.A. in Sociology from Tufts University, graduating summa cum laude, and earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She lives outside Boston with her husband and four sons.
